Suya (or spicy meat kebab if you want to be all oyinbo about it) is a much loved delicacy in Nigeria. The long thin cut of beef, marinated in delicious spices and grilled over red-hot coals, has over the years become one of the favorite street foods consumed by locals in the country. You can hardly go anywhere without finding it being sold and sold out. So if you are new in Nigeria or plan on visiting someday and are cusrious as to why this dish is loved so much, then here are 6 reasons Nigerians think Suya is bae
1) It is delicious:
Obviously!! Unless your taste bubs have been sold an Iphone and change, one bite of this deliciously slice of heaven will leave you an instant convert. The grilled meat and hot spices will make sweet love to your tongue.

You can have a good meal of Suya for as little as 400 Naira in Lagos and if you happen to be in the North, that 400 naira will leave you eating till your gums cry mercy!

Oh yes! Bread and Suya? Heaven! Garri and Suya? Delightful! Jollof Rice and Suya? Your soul will bsing a symphony! and so much more. Do yourself a favour and try as many combos as you can. You will not regret it

Whether it be a Wedding, a Party, or even a Birthday, this delightful cuisine spreads it’s love and happiness. If you are going to have Suya at your occasion, do make sure it is enough to go round. You do NOT want a riot.
