Boom ! Boom !! Boom !!! We demanded a response, and we got it.
The Nigeria Super Eagles showed great character and massive improvement to win the friendly game against their Cameroonian counterparts, thrashing the indomitable Lions with 3 goals.
Following the cycle of drama that seemed to distract the entire squad from the on-field activities and a consequential 2-0 loss to Congo, a response was sought in the match with the Lions.
The response was resounding as goals from Celtic defender Efe Ambrose, Gent winger, Simon Moses, and a late finish from Watford FC’s Odion Ighalo, drenched the Lions’ manes.
The cohesion was good, build-up play wasn’t bad, and they weren’t tactically deficient neither.
There’s definitely much work to do from here, and Oliseh, bar the drama blues, can start a good long walk from here.
All in all, it was by far an improved Super Eagles tonight and they deserved their big win over rivals Cameroon
