Bobbi Brown corrector

Technically a corrector not a concealer, this little pot of wonder works an absolute treat at banishing dark circles and hyper pigmentation. Acting as a neutraliser the Bobbi Brown Corrector reduces the blue tones and dark marks. It’s creamy texture is easy to apply and blends beautifully. The only down side is the price tag at £19 it is on the deer side. That said a little bit goes a long way I’ve had mine for nine months and I’ve not yet hit pan.

Nars Creamy Concealer £19.00

Nars creamy concealer

Quite possibly my hero concealer not only is it great for covering those dark circles but it works a dream at blurring out blemishes. The consistency is thick enough to give you some serious coverage while creamy enough to blend into the skin without the dreaded cakey under eye look. The packaging is great too, the clear tube is great for keeping track of how much product you have. While the applicator is fuss free and almost impossible to make a mess with. This little miracle is also perfect for those “no make up, make up” days.

Smashbox High Definition Concealer £18.00

Smashbox High Definition Concealer

A key player in covering dark under eye circles and dis colouration of the skin. Blends like a dream with a fluffy brush or beauty blender. The formula is oil free so perfect for those of us prone to oily skin. A little bit doesn’t go a long way it goes miles! I’m telling you, the smallest amount will do. The formula is less creamy more runny so be ware when squeezing the tube. Smashbox is a really accessible brand for women of colour. Stocked in Boots you can usually find a counter on your high street. The best part is, they have a good selection of darker colours to suit deeper skin tones.

Revlon Colourstay Concealer £6.99

Revlon Colorstay Concealer

The most budget friendly of this edit the Revlon Colourstay is great product. It works well at covering blemishes and can be used as a highlighter (if you go for a lighter shade) adding light and dimension to your face. It can be a bit of a let down under the eyes, with some creasing. This is easily remedied with a quality primer as a base and a little setting powder dusted on top. Similar to Smashbox Revlon can be found on the high street, with a decent range of tones to pick from.
