Ghanaian boxer Lamptey disrespects our flag during weigh in with Nigerian Amazon Larry Ekundayo

Eat Nigerian jollof, you say no. Don’t use basmati to be making jollof, you won’t agree. See your life? The Ghanaian team are already starting to feel the pressure of the upcoming match and the cracks are starting to show!

As you may have seen on social media, the weigh in for the African Boxing Union title erupted into chaos today when Joseph Lamptey (Ghana) disrespected the Nigerian flag by snatching it from our MEGASTAR Larry Ekundayo’s hands and throwing it on the floor! Lamptey had been upset that he had not been given a Ghanaian flag at the weigh in, so he grabbed the Nigerian flag from Nigerian Larry Ekundayo and threw it on the ground. Basmati behaviour.

Lamptey’s actions have not been well received by social media, with people up in arms about it. Indeed, Ekundayo and Lamptey had to be physically restrained at this disrespect. Well, Lamptey, anyway. Larry the Lion just laughed. Na tomorrow we go sabi wetin dey.
Larry Ekundayo (Nigeria) is to face Joseph Lamptey (Ghana) on Friday, 30th October, 2015 in a pugilistic battle for national pride which is set to rock the UK African Diaspora.
