mazi abe’s side: Like father like son – what goes around comes around?

Friday Reminiscing

I remember when Alhaja will be reporting one of my many escapades to her mum, my grandmother, Mòmò gbòbûro.

“Aaaah màami, don’t beg for him o! This boy will kill me before my time. When I got to his school, I was rolling on the floor, crying!”

And I will be standing there, rolling my eyes and thinking in my mind:

“Hmmmmmmm, mummy mummy! But you did not cry or roll on any floor ke?”

Then yesterday, I was reporting Fela to his mum about some infraction or the other that happened at Macdonalds.Like father like son

“Walahi Lanre, this silly boy so embarrassed me, I started crying. I was shedding tears like this”.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw the coconut head boy, smiling and rolling his eyes.

I knew immediately, what was on his mind : “hmmmmmmm, daddy daddy……..”

I send am backhand!

E dodge am.

…..yèyè boy, like his father. ???
