The countdown begins to the Lagos premiere of Room 315 – a short film, written by Abosi Ogba and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, and the production team is launching the #INeedHelp campaign – an initiative to create awareness on mental health.

This campaign is supported by NGOs: PSN Africa, Aware Africa NG, and Mentally Aware NG who are lending their voices and commitment towards referring and providing help to people who want to be mentally aware.

For the success of this campaign, we also have the support of trained psychologists to help identify mental health illness traits as well as offer therapy sessions. There is a need to break the silence and myths on mental health. We need people to be mentally aware and to stop the stigma that makes people ashamed to seek help.
From us at Viva Naija, as well as the entire Room 315 team, we urge you to seek help! We all have that one aspect of our lives that needs a therapeutic touch. So, don’t keep calm!

Call any of these numbers to seek help and be referred to a psychologist.

Together, let’s break the silence on mental health illness.
