Sepp Blatter ehn? I’ve never seen.
The FBI is currently investigating the Fifa president’s role in an alleged bribery involving sports marketing company ISL and FIFA executives.
According to the BBC, it would seem that ISL paid a total of $100m to officials including former Fifa president Joao Havelange and ex-Fifa executive Ricardo Teixeira. In return, ISL was granted lucrative television and marketing rights throughout the 1990s.
Blatter denied knowing about the bribes and took no action at the time, even allowing Teixeira to take part in the notorious vote for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
It would seem, however, that the FBI have evidence in the form of a letter written by Havelange that suggests that Blatter knew all about the illegal transactions going on and even took steps back in 2010 to suppress findings by the Swiss that the bribery even took place and his awareness or implicit permission of it.

The letter talks about the payments Havelange received from ISL. It says Blatter had “full knowledge of all activities” and was “always apprised” of them.
Blatter has declined to respond to any allegations put to him. Badooooski!
