SevenUp Nigeria is urging people to #RunYourRace as countdown for Access Bank Lagos City Marathon begins!

On your marks! The countdown has begun for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, and sponsors SevenUp Bottling Company, Nigeria, refuse to be left out as they put awareness into high gear for the race. The soft drinks company has maintained a firm presence behind the marathon this year, and their allegiance is visible as they launch the #RunYourRace hashtag; persuading everyone to join in the fun.

Run Your Race by 7Up
When health and fitness is the top trending hashtag on Twitter! SevenUp gives us: #RunYourRace

#RunYourRace trended on Twitter all morning as celebrities, influencers and interested individuals all got in on the fun. And why not? This is 2017 and we indeed must all run our individual races. We must get where we are going regardless of whatever our neighbour is doing. It is for this reason that I feel SevenUp could not have picked a better concept.

Everyone is getting involved! We already know that Nadeem Khan, the President International Association of Ultrarunners will be there. Several of the world’s most recognised marathon runners have promised to either maintain their winning position or beat last year’s running time. So there is no doubt that Saturday, February 11th will be a day of high expectations and even higher hopes as athletes slog it out on the 42km marathon. But you don’t need to take my word for it. Why not REGISTER HERE and see how well you do? Whatever the case , the important thing is that you #RunYourRace!
