Temi Dollface is smooth, suave and sophisticated with her single “Beep Beep”

There is nothing that turns me on than Nigerian music that has been given a spit-shine and polish. I love it when the music is undeniably Nigerian, but the production is flawless. I love it even more when the artiste takes strands of other genres and fuses it into the music, but the outcome is still undeniably African. This is what Temi Dollface did with her latest single, “Beep Beep” and we are here for the goodness!

The latest single by the Nigerian artiste, Temi Dollface, is gorgeous. Strands of afrobeat mix with strains of Jill Scott. I hear nu-soul, I hear funk. Janelle Monae sat with Erykah Badu in a burlesque cafe and had tea with Fela. I love, love, love everything I hear.

Ms Dollface describes herself as:

“… a Self-Styled Singer/Songwriter, Composer, Performer, Producer called Temi DollFace with a sound I refer to as “Drama Soul”. My music, like my style, doesn’t fit neatly into any genre. It is an amalgamation of all I am influenced by including Afrobeat.

Miss Thang ain’t never lied because her style is truly off the chain. Beep Beep is an eargasm and we’ve had it on replay all day. Probably one of the best sounding female productions I’ve heard this year.

But don’t take my word for it; please have a listen and tell us what you think. And then I found out she lives in Nigeria – awesome sauce! I have pressed Like, Follow and “Die dia!” on every platform she possesses. If you like her sound, then I urge you to do the same.
