HBO has created some amazing television programs over the years.
“Game of Thrones” is undoubtedly the biggest show on television at the moment. With only two episodes remaining before the series finale, fans are waiting on the edge of their seats to see who ends up on the Iron Throne.
As popular as GoT may be, does it take the crown for best television show ever created?
Mike Francesa does not think so.
During Friday’s edition of “Mike’s On,” Mike spoke about his lack of interest in “Game of Thrones,” and how it isn’t even HBO’s greatest show.
“First of all, I don’t like dark shows,” Francesa said on why he is not a fan of HBO’s hit series. “Shows where the sun never shines, everything is dark, it’s like Tim Burton. I don’t need to see all of that. It’s just not for me. But I would say it’s probably been the second-biggest (show) other than ‘The Sopranos…’
“Someone would have to prove to me that (‘Game of Thrones’) was bigger culturally, because ‘The Sopranos’ was enormous.”
