Banky W engaged? Well played, Banky W and Adesua Etomi, well played!! Every Nigerian woman, and I include married women in this assumption, wanted Banky W. He was the quintessential spotless Yoruba demon. All of the qualifications for top-tier demonology but none of the scandal. Far and wide, everyone confirmed he was a gentleman. Banky W left no broken hearts in his wake, just a trail of wistful, hopeful young ladies. I am sure that there are even engaged women who hesitated to say “Yes” because they knew that this would mean the chance to marry Banky W would be closed to them forever. He was our boyfriend in all our minds and we were helplessly, hopelessly in love.
I know very little about Ms Etomi other than the fact that she is a slay queen; effortlessly and humbly so. Like her future husband, she avoids controversy and only courts good publicity. I don’t think there is anyone within or without the industry who could say a bad word about this lady. Simply flawless.
Their chemistry was OFF THE CHAIN in the movie, The Wedding party, so it makes sense that life would imitate art:

Dear Susu (part II) In that time, I got engaged to you in my "made for you" music video… and by pure coincidence, we both got cast to get married in the wedding party movie.. but all the while we were the very best of friends. I guess, in our case, real life will now imitate art. I'm not sure what the future will bring, but I'm completely sure that I am ready to face it with you by my side. I pray that God continues to build me into the kind of man that you deserve. I love you Susu.. I feel safe and at peace with you. You mean the world to me. Thank you for agreeing to be my lover and best friend. Thank you for agreeing to be my wife. PS: The timing of this may make some people think this is promo for another video, or a movie. It isn't. Ironically, everyone who has seen us together in art, or in life, always insists that we have amazing chemistry. I guess you can say we have been hiding in plain sight. I fell in love with an Actress. Now my life is a movie. In February of 2017, I asked Adesua Tolulope Oluwaseun Etomi to be my wife. She said Yes.
And from her:
Sigh. Engaged since February and not a peep from either of them till today, May 3rd. If they can continue with this level of maturity and discretion, I know for a fact that they will go very very far. They’ve certainly waited for the right one to come around, waited to be sure, waited till they were both mature enough for this step.
I wish them all of the very best of luck and joy in the world. Ignore the cracking sound you can hear. My heart will heal. Eventually. sniff
