EFCC recovers huge money Ikoyi

Do you believe this? Ha! This is the height of it! How can someone stash up money in mint, this much, in one location? No No No No….! This is freaking!…and freaking unbelievable too!

Thanks yet again to the Federal government’s whistle blower policy, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has discovered another large sum of money in a house in Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to the EFCC, operatives from its Lagos Zone found the cash during a sting operation.

Specifically, it said the operatives uncovered about $38m, N23m and £27,000 from the apartment.

This comes two days after EFCC operatives recovered €547,730 and £21,090 as well as N5,648,500 from a Bureau de Change operator in Balogun Market, Lagos.

Six days earlier, the EFCC recovered N449, 000, 860 hidden in an abandoned shop also in Lagos.

  1. My problem is not with recovery money but what will they do with the recovered money because since OBJ time they have been recovering money but nothing to show for it

  2. @ koko Joseph Joe. I don’t blame you for your comment because if common sense is common you would have known that two different periods are involved as far as that money is concern. Who stole, where stolen. and who found and where found. The fact that it was found in lagos does it mean that the house where found belongs to APC ?

  3. If truly this happen then we dont need to work again lets start looking for the rest of the money from house to house because is our money the end of recession has come that is our reserve thank u efcc

  4. Gullible Nigerians, keep falling for the same old trickery.. This is the worst gov Nigerians are experiencing.. Fight against corruption is simply fight against perceived opposition.. With all this monies allegedly recovered, the economy is going thru its worst experience in the history of Nigeria..Mind you,a government that has been in power running to three years now has been dancing skelewu only to start recovering billions of naira and dollars within few months.gimmick.. I choose to never be fooled.

  5. Only empty heads like the writer will not believe what happens. With the anti-corruption war of the present govt, bank is no more a safe place for corrupt politicians to keep money. The policy of whistle-blowing is now exposing those greedy and selfish politicians.

  6. Instead of us to commend EFCC for a job well done we are criticising them. It is time we put our divergent political ideas and ethnicity aside to work for the progress of the country especially in the fight against corruption
