Sigh. Another day, another celeb beef: Wizkid, Dammy Krane, Quilox and 30-minute kwanta

I can’t seem to shake the feeling that soon cat and rat will engage in twitter beef for the sake of significance and trying to get the general public to sit up and pay attention to them. I feel Olamide and Don Jazzy’s beef was legitimate as there seems to have been some undercurrents there that made the celeb beef not just Li’l Kesh not winning the award, but this Wizkid and Dammy Krane beef just smacked of Skiibii’s death and subsequent resurrection.

I’ll keep this brief because…it’s boring.

Dammy Krane accused Wizkid of tiffing some of his lyrics and songs in a series of tweets. No twitter call-out is valid without certain ingredients: access to money or foreign tinz, while still being able to exhibit love for the streets and area worthiness. Dammy Krane covered all bases excellently:

See? All bases covered.

Wizkid and Dammy Krane take it to the streets. Or rather, the club:

Well, the two singers bumped into each other at the famed Quilox Nightclub in Lagos in the early hours of Friday morning and they Flipped. Out. Fighting, scrapping, bottles being thrown…apparently, Dammy Krane wan burst bottle for Wizkid head sef:

Things got so heated that people sent for 2Baba, as he owns the record label, Hypertek Digital, which Dammy Krane is under.

Baba came, had a word, and before the club had even closed for the night, the fight was over and Wizkid and Dammy Krane were drinking from the same glass. Awwwww…all’s well that ends well.

Borrowed from Bella Naija. We wee give it back after, abeg. Dammy Krane, Shina Peller – owner of Quilox, Wizkid.

I’m trying to build readership on Viva Naija. If you’re up for a little Twitter beef, hit me up on pinging. I was born, bred and buttered in Surulere with a short stint in Warri, and I currently live in the UK – my credentials are top notch. Tainz a bunsh.
