What do you want to do with your passion in the coming months?
I read an article today about living a balanced life. The author explained in the article that living a balanced life is a myth. I laughed aloud because it is actually an unpleasant fact we all have to embrace. I discovered that the older I get, the busier I become and the more challenging to balance all the things I want to do. I also drop a few balls along the way – unintentionally.
If you are considering packaging your passion or amplifying what you currently do, waiting to find the right balance may never happen. Work may get busier, family demands may increase and you may just find out that if you do not make time for what you want to do now, time will fly by.
I always tell my clients that perfection is a moving goal post; you never seem to get the ball in the post because it is always moving.
What do you want to do with your passion?
Have you thought about taking your ideas off the back burner and doing something more with them in the coming months? Are you considering how to amplify what you currently do so you can amplify your reach and revenue?
Recently, I worked with an amazing woman who was offering her services freely and was tired of being taken for granted. She knew she was talented but was unsure of how best to package her talent and knowledge. She took on The Package My Passion in 90 Days Program, despite her workload and other challenges. She was determined not to allow anything stand in the way of grasping what she has been waiting for. We packaged her passion in 90 days and it was such a pleasure to receive one of her business cards and the confirmation that she is making sales.
My advice to you is to focus on living deliberately rather than trying to balance it all. Prioritise right – if finding fulfilment in your work life is a key priority, then work on making it happen. If there is a project on your mind that you want to start to find real fulfilment, get on with it. There is no time like now to start making plans for a great future.
Decide within yourself to live every day deliberately and make each day count. Walk towards your true purpose by living every day on purpose.
The cure for dropping balls is to prioritise your daily tasks and focus on what will help you live your life deliberately and intentionally. Life is not about getting everything done, it is about prioritising. Make a list of what is most important to you in this present time and let that list be your guide as you take on every day
One of the ways you can live on purpose is to maximise your strengths and find your genius zone
I must confess, this year I really expressed myself in so many ways. There were a number of business opportunities I took advantage of this year; I mean I really took the plunge. Did some succeed, yes and some fell as flat as a pancake. However, hey, I fall and rise again. I learnt a huge lesson from my experiences this year – in failing I triumph because I know what to do to excel next time.
I am cheering you on.
