Hian. And the beat goes on and on. Kata kata don burst! Everyone thought Stephanie Otobo, chairman Make Money; Get Money Any Which Way Inc. was not joking at all o! The lady who set out to lift the lid on Apostle Suleman’s shenanigans has officially filed a lawsuit against him in Canada where she resides. It seems the lady is not for turning and she’s not letting this one go.
According to Sahara Reporters, Ms Otobo has filed a lawsuit, claiming Canadian $5milion for damages resulting from breach of trust, breach of fiduciary relations, breach of contract, negligence, defamation, poisoning, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional stress, forcible confinement, multiple instances of battery, false imprisonment, fraud, assault, sexual assault, sexual harassment, harassment and malicious prosecution.
Hian. Sounds like she’s just throwing everything at him and hoping something sticks. The only thing she’s not accusing him of at the point is murder and theft. Battery? Really? Fraud? Which business did they conduct together? What does she buy and what does she sell? You know what, don’t answer that question.
Apparently, the suit also seeks an order restraining Suleman from contact and communication, directly or indirectly, with Otobo while in Canada, and restraining the Apostle Suleman from being at a distance of at least 500 metres from the plaintiff.
The letter is dated April 19 2017 with case file number CV-17-573595, signed by Registrar of the Ontario Superior Court and addressed to Apostle Suleman’s Ontario residence.
I understand Ms Otobo rather well. That particular gravy train is well and truly over, and I doubt any man would want to mess with her at this point; it is fair to say that she knows how to create a storm out of something that should be shrouded in secrecy. It makes sense that she wants one last shake of the goose egg; a pension plan, if you will.
This also probably explains why she is filing the suit in Canada as opposed to Nigeria; a country perhaps more sympathetic to the plight of wronged women and whatnot.
The one I will not take from this woman is all the attendant tales of being “groomed into a relationship” with Apornstu. Women, Nigerian women in particular, keep exchanging sexual favours for material gain. She was groomed to collect cars, houses and monetary gifts? And even now that the affair is over and the wool has fallen from her eyes, she wants to wipe her tears with more money?
I have no sympathy for the apostu. Sometimes, all that extra-curricular vagina comes back to bite you in the ass. Quite literally. I certainly have none for his
goons church members. Sooner or later, Nigerians are going to have to learn that we do not need bigger, fancier churches (or whatever it is they’re paying their tithes towards), and that their widow’s mite would be better spent at building businesses and infrastructure that will benefit THEM. I certainly have no sympathy for the wife. She’s not going anywhere. Stephanie Otobo is just a minor distraction; one of the CODB – Cost of Doing Business. Nothing will separate her from the love of (a million dollar empire) God. It has been ordained.
Gbogbo won ma wa alright. Plus Stephanie, plus Apornstu, and even plus all the other lower-calibre girls he carries who would have undoubtedly seen their wages docked as a result of this fiasco. We will all be here to sit and leer over the shenanigans and thank God/envy that it’s not us.
