Three days after the legend and passionately dedicated Ex-Super Eagles Captain and coach, Stephen Keshi, died, we made a post urging the Federal Government of Nigeria to not disappoint us and take a unprecedented step to #HonourStephenKeshiForReal (SEE HERE), but, it seems the we’ve been made to see how “Saturday go be from the way Friday dey look”.
According to a post made by the late Keshi’s son on Instagram, the federal government’s seeming non-chalant handling of their Dad’s burial rites, as against the promises made, typically shows how perennial the FG gets with not honoring its heroes…..and we too are sad.
Keshi’s son practically took the words out of our mouth. Read him pour a piece of his mind below:
Well, what else can we say, than urge our government to wake up for real, and end the knack for uselessness, especially as touching honoring true patriots.

Something went wrong.
Bless him. A son to be proud of
Yes indeed.
This is disgusting. Nothing for Dr Stella Adedevoh … Nothing for Stephen Keshi … What is wrong with that country, mbok??
Nothing for anyone. We desecrate and dishonour EVERYONE who fights in our name. I really can’t deal.
He’s the true son of his father.
True son of his pops
Not disappointed, that’s Nigeria for u
Like that maxim states… The more things change, the more they stay the same! #NaijaLeadership…
bark to bark its what your father did to Sunday UBA that FG do to your keshin
Tomorrow when some younger generation refuses to honour National call, hope Nigerians will remember this and not rain causes on them. I remember the John Fashunu saga in the Green Eagles days. What about Sam Okwaraji?
This is an Islamic government and Keshi is not a Muslim!
