Yes, it was 9 years ago when a tearful Eldee sang this thoughtful song about the uninspiring situation of things in his fatherland, Nigeria.
The ‘I go Yarn‘ song, popular back then for its dirge-like tune, sought to speak out about the sick leadership that has ran the country into stupor and her people into abject poverty.
Well, if Eldee felt this way 9 years ago with lyrical tears, I wonder how he must feel now, considering the fact that despite Sai Changi, it’s still a shade of ‘same old same old’.
