If there is one thing that Nigerians like, it’s meat. There are Nigerian vegans and vegetarians, sure, but you will have to trek many a mile to find one. Goat meat o, chicken o, beef o, isi-ewu o…if it’s meat, we’re all over it. So you know we love a good burger. Well, never fear, Viva Naija is here to satisfy your carnivorous needs. We present eight of the best burgers in London. Foodgasm concoctions of beef, cheese and bread coming your way in 4…3…2…
1. ARI Gold Cheeseburger, Patty And Bun
In four locations in London: James Street, Liverpool Street, Old Crompton St Soho & London Fields ‘The Arch’ thTe burger holds beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, ketchup, smokey P&B mayo and brioche. Starts at £7.50.
2. The XXXL at Fatburger
I mean…the name of the joint is Fatburger, right? You know you were expecting a whopper, and what a whopper it is! This is one pound weight of glorious chargrilled prime beef. Okay, your heart will stop working, but hey ho!
Find Fatburger – 10 Jamestown Road | Camden Town, London NW1 7BY, England

7. Porky’s Burger at Porky’s BBQ
Topped with tender, BBQ pulled pork, streaky bacon and jack cheese, the Porky Burger will certainly make a pig out of you (but a totally satisfied pig). We’d definitely recommend multiple napkins with this one… it gets messy. But do you care?
Find Them: Camden & BoxPark Shoreditch
8. Build Your Own Burger at Band of Burgers
New kids on the block, Band of Burgers, are bringing the burger back to the people by allowing you to BYOB (build your own burger) from scratch. You can also BYOB (bring your own booze). The DIY approach to dining makes for the perfect chilled night out – and we’ve also heard rumours that their milkshakes are pretty epic!
Find Them: Camden. Download Fever and you can book your build-your-own-burger ahead of the buzz, for just £7.95.
