This year marks the 29th anniversary of the Nigerian Corner at the Notting Hill Carnival, and following the tradition of the previous 28 years, it was just fun, fun, fun all the way!
The rain did nothing to dampen spirits as the on-stage performers kept the crowd jumping with the help of DJ Spencer. Naija food was just too sweet – jollof rice, barbecued chicken, fresh, steamed tilapia fish – they all did their little part in helping with the smelling rain that was falling.
DJ Abass, Ayo Shonaiya, Adesope of Factory 78, Wale Gates, MC Abbey, Yaw Naija, Nikki Laoye, Henri Soul, Drew Uyi, Emma Oh Ma God, Princess, LAX, JJC Skillz, Shiikane and Tillaman were among the many names who graced the stage and kept us jumping.
There was an after-party too, but…if I told you what happened there, I’d have to kill you!
