Ehen…ayam not married o but common sense speaks
I like to think that marriage is kind of like a business merger. Before you join your business with another, it is important that you know what kind of business you are in, what values drive that business and what core principles you CANNOT compromise.
I think marriage follows the same route. You want to marry abi? Excellent! Beautiful! I cut cap and wave pant for you
Bhet do you know yourself?
Do you know what your values are? Do you know those core things that make you YOU? Those principles that you would rather chop Afang and Oha with a side of Ila soup (TUEH!) than compromise?
Methinks this is important as it will go a long way in helping you choose someone that you can live with and not consider burning the house down.
Abeg o! Take a good look at yourself and identify who you are before you let emotion and sexual attraction sway you to marry one kain person. Only to find out a few months later that your value systems are like Dalung and sense. Dem no dey follow (ahem…)
Anyway for more short nuggets of sense like the one in the picture above (100 more in fact) Order my e-book “From me to You: Timeless Wisdom for your Life’s Journey” from Okada books here. It eez only 500 Naira.
