‘Hard Brexit’ Could Knock British Passport Worth to same as Argentina

At first the headline sounds laughable. Argentina ke? Wharrapen? All that queueing at the embassy abi High Commission? And all for what? But this is no joke. This is the new world order. This is what we might have to face as a result of the referendum vote to leave the European Union. A Hard Brexit would mean a restriction on free borders and this drastically reduces the power of the UK passport.

The study of passport power, by citizenship planning firm Henley and Partners, takes into account how many countries can be visited without applying for a visa.

Currently Germany tops the league with 177 countries open out of a maximum of 218. The UK is joint-third with France, Italy and Spain at 175 countries.

Argentina is down in 22nd place, and this is where the UK would be if access to most of mainland Europe was based on visa entry.

I can’t help wondering what this would mean for those who marry akata babes for pali love. The price of love for Polish babes is about to go sky-high! LOL

PS: You can check the listings of power here for yourself. Our jollof rice might be off the chain, but omo, Nigeria is ranking at 92 while Ghana is at 73. Tonga, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Mongolia, Niger, Senegal, and Togo are all ranked higher than we are.
