Nigerians Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, Ademola Lookman and Sheyi Ojo named in England’s Young Lions for Mexico double-header

    Nigerians Fikayo Tomori, Sheyi Ojo, Tammy Abraham and Ademola Lookman all picked for England’s Under-19 football 

    Today has been amazing over here at Viva Naija HQ. All we’ve done is jubilate and marvel at the prowess of Nigerians at every turn – from art to IT to literature to fashion, beauty and health care. We continue to blaze trails across the board and now we have added sports and selection for England’s Young Lions’ team as yet another arrow to our quiver.

    The Chelsea duo Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham, who made their first-team debuts against Leicester City on Sunday, have been included in the England under 19 squad to take on Mexico.

    The Young Lions will play a double-header of friendlies near Mexico City on June 4 and 6 as they fine-tune ahead of July’s European Championship in Germany.

    They will be joined by Liverpool forward, Sheyi Ojo, and Charlton Athletic’s Ademola Lookman.
