Olootu Bankole, the prominent founder of Mercyland Schools gave his daughter Architect Olubukola Bankole in holy matrimony to her long time fiance Architect Olubunmi Adeyemi. The elaborate wedding took place on Saturday 7th of October 2017 at The African Church Cathedral, Ita-Iyalode, Owu, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. The reception followed at H3 event centre, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The Alake of Egbaland, Olu of Itori Oba Fatai Akamo, Oba Ogunleye the Towulade of Akinale and his Olori, Chief Alaba Lawson, Oba Adedapo Tejuosho the Osile of Egbaland were among the elite guests that graced the very special occasion. Ogun State Deputy Governor Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga was given the honour to witness the cutting of the cake.
A one-minute silence was observed in respect of (Late) Mrs. Mojirayo Adeyemi, mother of the groom.
