The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said he is confident of victory at the end of today’s polls.
Sanwo-Olu said this in an interview with journalists shortly after voting alongside his wife, Ibijoke, at the Lateef Jankande/Femi Okunnu Polling Unit in Ikoyi.
Describing the election day as divine, Sanwo-Olu said it was exactly six months ago that he obtained the form and joined the Lagos governorship race.
He added that since he had made the necessary engagements and had taken his campaign to different parts of the state he was confident of victory.
He expressed satisfaction with the process, adding that the Independent National Electoral Commission had done “a fairly good job, in terms of logistics.”
