Order is a necessary condition for making a structure function. A physical mechanism, be it a team of laborers, the body of an animal, or a machine, can work only if it is in physical order – Rudolf Arnheim

Well, In a bid to forestall further dramatic distractions, the Nigeria Football Federation have expressed their readiness to roll out a code of conduct that will be strictly enforced on all national team members, especially when on national duty.

Nigerian football endured its fair share of off-field controversy and distracting drama, with Vincent Enyeama’s rift-related retirement, the latest in a case of behind-the-scenes issues which threaten to derail the Super Eagles from a focus on effectiveness and team strength.

In an official statement that carried an intent at steadying the ship of the nations football, the NFF stated:

“A small group had been working on the document and I am happy to say that it is now ready for implementation.

“This will spell out how players and officials must conduct themselves while in any of the national camps, and minimize the probability of misunderstanding between coaches and players.

“The recent happening in the camp of the Super Eagles in Belgium was unwarranted but I am happy we have been able to put that behind us.

“Both Coach Sunday Oliseh and player Vincent Enyeama even spoke cordially on Saturday during Enyeama’s meeting with the NFF leadership.”
