Celebrated Ghanaian actor, now a preacher, Pastor Majid Michel has advised the latest celebrity couple in town, John and Mawunya Dumelo days after their splash wedding in Accra.
The popular Ghanaian actor on Saturday with his girlfriend, tied the knot in a lavish wedding at a private ceremony that got everyone talking on various social media platforms.
The wedding ceremony which brought a number of Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities together, also saw former Ghanaian leader, John Dramani Mahama in attendance. However, days after the marriage ceremony, Majid Michel took to his social media page to offer his industry colleague, John Dumelo, an important marriage advice in order to sustain his union.
Majid, who is now known to be a preacher, in an Instagram post counseled Dumelo to cherish and offer Gifty his sincerest love until his last breath.
Pastor Majid also insisted that the only way John and Gifty can make their marriage stand test of time is to place Jesus at the center of their union.
He further shared a photo of John kissing Gifty’s ring with the caption, “Let Jesus in. He is what you need. We choose to Love. Love is a choice not a feeling. Your hand has already been taken. Your life long promise should always stand. Until your last breath you will always hold her hand.”
Pastor Majid also added that, “Through everything she’s half of you. Even though you may not always agree, you shall never part. This world may not be fair, but through sickness and in health, promise to be there.”
Majid in a further address to John Dumelo revealed that,”To make her happy, that’s your only wish. To love and obey is also part of your promise. Anytime things get rough, always remember, sometimes God let you hit rock bottom so that you will discover that He is the Rock at the bottom.”
