The overall winners of this match-up will advance to the group phase of the qualifying tournament for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

According to the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) disclosed the Rivers Government’s monetary promise.

Rivers State Government has hosted several of Nigeria’s home games recently and it was credited with the country’s qualification for the 2002 World Cup ahead of a George Weah-inspired Liberia.

Kick-off time is 4pm Nigerian time.
