EPL: Like play, like play, Leicester City are 3 wins away from lifting the league title

Admit it…just admit jejely

“They will soon drop, they will soon lose form, they are not class acts, they can’t sustain the pressure, they don’t have title-winning experience to manage the pressure, they are a momentary fluke, they will soon buck under pressure, their players will definitely have injuries”….and to all of these, LEICESTER CITY FC have said a resoundingly unapologetic “Shaaaarrrraaaap!!!!”

They have shamed obstinate doubters by winning game after game with palpable resilience and unregenerate competitiveness – which has been their only tactic so far.

Their win, Sunday afternoon, over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light leaves them with just three wins out of the 5 remaining games, to win the prestigious English Premier League title, and what a lesson this would be for both the past, present and the future of football in general.

The win also confirms that Champions League football is coming to the Kingpower Stadium next season.

…A team whose total cost is half the salary of a single player in another club of the same league is about to win the title against very visible odds….what a story….

Sunderland down! 3 more to go

Today’s win is the first time since 1963-64 that Leicester have picked up five top-flight wins in a row, and the first time they have ever kept five consecutive clean sheets in the top division.

…and this one no just send anybody, him just dey score dey go…Jamie Vardy,..bend it like Vardy!

The streets of of Leicester are getting ready, Viva Naija, like any other keen eye, can authoritatively report. ….the whole of London will embrace and get on in thee celebrations. ..

The fans are getting ready.

Hollywood people, wetin una dey wait for….this is a blockbuster story already written and right in your face.. ..get to work!

Judging by their feat so far, these guys will grind out the remaining three wins needed, and history will be birthed in the foxy town of London, in Leicester…I’m so proud of these guys…an average football fan will be…

And please, someone should their coach Claudio Ranieri to stop the whole “we haven’t won anything yet” facade jor….LOL…I understandhim though, for a man who has gotten so close many times and failed, he must be very psychological this time and desire to glory only when the deed is done for good and for real.

An emotional, teary Ranieri, after the Sunderland win

Congratulations in advance, to Leicester City football club on this monumental win

I wrote this below some weeks ago on my Facebook page Sayo Aluko , the 6th of February 2016, to be precise  ….

“Taking a Leicester cue….

So, Leicester City beat Manchester City at home.

That they roared to score right from the beginning in the 3rd minute underlies their inexplicable determination to just WIN.

No matter what happens to them with 13 matches to go, I think the determinant exploits of this team so far should earn the word “Leicester” a place in the English dictionary to depict an admirable degree of determination.

E.g,

■ I like the way you get leicesterous about your academic ambition.

■ You are quite leicesterate in your approach to things.

■ I am leicestered to ensure my kids develop mental independence.

■ The excision of ego is a leicesterant factor in having a great marriage.

■ For Nigeria to become great, our leaders need a lot of leicesteration to combat corruption.

esterra eseterra …..”

Dazzol!
