Has Peak Milk been seeing a serious decline in the sales of their good, white stuff or why have they been marketing so seriously with celebrity endorsement? First it was Yemi Alade with a cheerful little ditty, then Falz the Bahd Guy told us he “cannot come and go and die” with a Peak Milk advert of his own:
Now there’s a TV advert starring Olamide, Iyanya, Yemi Alade, Tekno, and Selebobo that is actually really sweet. If you are a celebrity and you haven’t been invited by Peak Milk at this point to come and shake small body for the milk company, then I really don’t know what you are doing with your life LOL.
I could wax lyrical about how great the advert is, but that would be silly. It’s just a TV ad for crying out loud. I will say that I loved the fact that it was in various languages and the…what is that word? The look? The feel? It was like an advert much older than it actually is. Like Bournevita or the UBA adverts.
Anway, what I really want to talk about is…you guessed it – Olamide.
He was a good choice as he’s always waxing lyrical about his mum and the advert is all about a mother’s love, but wallahi, when he’s not trying to be all ‘Streetz ti take over‘, he is actually quite innocent and sweet-looking. Who knew?
Anyhoo, here you go: Peak ‘Meek’ starring all the gbogbo everybody:
