President Buhari has touched down in the US for his meeting following a personal invitation via statement on June 27th from Obama. Our President will be lodging at the Blair House, his official residence all through his stay in Washington and the Nigerian flag has already been hoisted to signify that he has been safely situated at the residence.
It is thought that both leaders will be discussing the scourge that is Boko Haram, future alliances between the two countries, as well as finances (ie. “Come, Obama – any of the money dem tiff, e dey una hand?”)
I’m not gonna lie, the firm handshake with Obama makes me proud of Buhari.
