Strictly Come Dancing 2016 Final: Ore Oduba Wins After Soul Lifting Performance!

Say it loud! We’re Black and we’re proud!! Nigerians out here doing big tings! Ore Oduba, a British television news and sports presenter, found his dancing feet in Strictly Come Dancing 2016, and swept us away as he finally got to lift the Glitter Ball after a tough competition.

The emotional star threw his heart and soul into the competition as he learned a new dance style every week. And boy, did it show!! He always had a place in our hearts because Yoruba, but it was his jive with partner Joanne Clifton that did it for us; convinced us that only he could be winner.

Tonight, Ore came toe-to-toe with Louise Redknapp and her partner, Kevin Clifton; who BURNED up the dance floor with this Argentine waltz:

Our winner also matched dancing skills with South African amazon Oti Mabuse and her partner, Danny Mac:

But there could only ever be one winner, and when the time came, omo Oodua got his moment to shine! His showdance “I Got Rhythm” left us breathless.

And what a proud moment for his parents who were also in the audience!

Of course, Strictly Come Dancing 2016 is not the day job; he will be back on the BBC presenter’s couch in no time. But it is a priding moment to say that he embarked on a journey, on something he’s never done before, and he conquered.
