Before the music and Headies awards, Adekunle Gold was awesomely talented as “That Photoshop Guy” [PICS]

There was so much jagbajantis and palaver at the Headies Awards on the 1st of this year, that we nearly forgot that a lot of artistes were being recognised for their hard work and talent within the Nigerian music industry.

Adekunle Gold, stand up! This awesome sauce young man won the award for Best Alternative Song for his fab song Sade, and he came for the award ready to shine – first dressed as a Yoruba Demon and later in a simple adire shirt.:

And while Adekunle remains a superbly talented singer (Orente still gives me goose bumps despite listening to it thousands of times), today I was reminded that this young man is just a font of creativity.

His work as a photoshop expert got him acknowledgement and kudos on social media long before the music began, and today is a great day to remember why. He’s faboosh!
