I’ve never seen this kind of kpenkele-mess in all my born days. President Muhammadu Buhari and his Madam Aisha turned inside-house quarrel to public property. So tay Germany had to see if they could help us settle this domestic dispute. Because of “My wife belongs to my kitchen.” It is wa.
That’s how o, we were all in our houses minding our business when gbege happened. Some people were contemplating cost of bag of rice and the general foolishness of the naira. For those of us outside of the country, we were thinking about the impending winter months. Also whether Gala money will be enough to buy house in Lekki.
It’s Aisha Buhari that started it. She said if things continue the way they’re going, come 2019, she isn’t going out to campaign for any smelling presidency again. Furthermore, she added insult to the injury by claiming that Mr “I am for everybody and nobody” actually did not know the majority of the people he appointed as ministers and was instead doing a lot of placation for the king makers.
Buhari Bungles Big Time in Germany
Many people say Aisha was wrong to speak out the way she did. Many people say she was only voicing what the rest of the country was feeling. Whichever way you stood, none of us were ready for Buhari’s response to his wife’s BBC interview.
Standing on a stage with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, one of the most powerful WOMEN on earth, the president was asked to react to the interview.
The AP news agency says he laughed it off and said: “I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room.”
I…it’s like….but why do…you know what? It doesn’t matter. We’re in it now, for better or for worse. Na to dey look the soap opera dey go.
PS: did you see the mean muggin’ Murky Merkel gave Buhari? If looks could slap, wallahi!!!
