Humblesmith, Phyno, and now, Lynxxx. First, it was Osinachi by Humblesmith – which I love. Then, I heard Phyno do Fada Fada, and I gave my life to Christ on that day. I have listened to that song so many times and I am responsible for at least 150,000 of the 964k+ views (my baby is about to hit 1 million!!!! Naija artistes stand UP!).

Flavour Nabania, my original baby daddy is yet to drop a Christian track but that doesn’t matter as everyone know his waist is sanctified and only Holy Spirit could have given him his lyrics – not flesh and blood, so I know he’s covered, hehehe!

Here comes Lynxxx with a slow rap (rap-ballad?) that sounds like a church testimony, but is still cool. He’s found God, and that can only be a good thing, right?

I wonder if this new trend has to do with the fact that Nigerians still require you to be humble once you’ve made it? Like when a man has seven cars parked in his garage and you say “How’s business?” and he responds with “We dey push am small small” or “We thank God”? I think from time to time, we want our celebrities and wealthy individuals to still (pretend to) be humble.

All I know is, the day Burna Boy will sing his own, me, I’m buying a one-way ticket to the galaxy and leaving this planet Earth for you people. Because reasons.

Here it is: Serve Him by Lynxxx. Let’s know what you think!
