Omoni Oboli, Alexx Ekubo, Joseph Benjamin, Yvonne Jegede confirmed for London Premiere of The First Lady

It was bound to happen to be honest.

Omoni Oboli’s First Lady has been trailblazing in every state and cinema in Nigeria it has premiered in, been met with amazing reviews from critics and audience alike. So it was only fair that we London folk got a look in on the action.

And after Omoni met with the legendary DJ Abass from DJA Media when she was in town for the premiere of the hit film FIFTY, it would seem that all systems are go for the premiere of what is being billed as one of the funniest films to hit Nigeria in a while.

Mrs Oboli has been on a whirlwind journey these last few months – from acting, producing, and networking, to attending premieres and media houses for publicity and awareness for her recent work, but she couldn’t be happier as these are the problems any talented person prays for: just an opportunity to showcase the talent.

The stars of the film are only too eager to support the work as it is clear that this film stands apart from a lot of the dross that usually comes out of Nollywood. Omoni Oboli herself, Alexx Ekubo, Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki of Aki & PawPaw), & Joseph Benjamin are all confirmed red carpet guests at the London premiere of Omoni Oboli’s THE FIRST LADY, so it is clear that this will be a wonderful night.
