Rape in Nigeria, Trump’s shenanigans, Justice for ALUU 4, the car basher – just some of the highlights of this week!
- Once again, rape, consent and sexual perversion is rocking Nigeria as news has emerged that a 14-year old was raped to death in Lagos. As usual, there are various camps: those calling for jungle justice, those trying to explain away consent, and those who think the maximum penalty for rape should be a hashtag.
- The ALUU 4 – Lloyd Toku-Mike, Ugonna Obuzor, Tekena Elkanah and Chiadaka Biringa were murdered in Omuokiri, Aluu, and anyone who saw the video recording of their murders still has shivers to this day. Well, a court judge has found 3 people guilty of their murders and has sentenced them to death. Justice? Or too little too late?
- Donald Trump is just some kinda crazy. From transgender in the military to Scaramucci to Russian scandals, there’s nothing El Cheeto will not embark upon in order to not actually govern. Y’all need to come get your president. He’s a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket.
- Lol, this aunty has clearly watched entirely too many episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta! This heifer here, all wild-eyed and crazy looking, stood on the bonnet of a jeep and repeatedly hit the windscreen with a baseball bat. Criminal damage AND no breast. E pain me.
