Viva Naija presents The Talking Drum – a new radio show for today’s Nigerian

Ladies and Gentle Moi-Moi, it’s been a long time coming, and I guess that time is NOW! Sometimes, words fail me. Sometimes, I don’t want to just sit, rant and rave at a computer screen. I want to bounce my thoughts off people. Have a natter about the madness that is living in 2016 as a Nigerian and all that that entails.  For this reason, The Talking Drum was created.

Every week, I, Rachel will be hosting a show with an opinionated panel where we discuss every facet of life that affects Nigerians. We will talk about sexuality and single-ness. And we shall discuss infidelity and income. What about the life of an immigrant? Or the challenges of step parenting?

Viva Naija is striving for a show that has no pretence, prejudice or prejudgement. We want to beat The Talking Drum till it tells its truths. Till we talk about the things we are really feeling and the challenges we are seriously going through.
